Launched on January 25th 2021 at 0:00am (JST) by Falcon9 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Launch Complex 40, iQPS 2^nd small SAR satellite “IZANAMI” has made a successful communication in the morning on the same day. Confirmed of its good condition IZANAMI has successfully executed the deployment of its parabolic antenna on January 30th 2021. We are now planning to obtain the first earth observation data after completing the calibration of the satellite as scheduled. We look forward to release our SAR imagery as early as possible.
