Launched on December 15th 2023 at 01:05 p.m. (JST) by Rocket Lab Electron,QPS-SAR-5 “TSUKUYOMI-I” has made a successful communication about 40 minutes after separation. Confirmed of its good condition TSUKUYOMI-I has successfully executed the deployment of its parabolic antenna in this morning. We are now planning to obtain the first earth observation data after completing the calibration of the satellite as scheduled.
