Fukuoka, JAPAN – May 23rd, 2024 – Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc. (iQPS) released its Spotlight mode (high-resolution mode) images from QPS-SAR-7, named “TSUKUYOMI-II”. As QPS-SAR-6 “AMATERU-III,” and QPS-SAR-5 “TSUKUYOMI-I” which has already begun commercial service, TSUKUYOMI-II also has capability to observe at 46cm azimuth and range resolution, the highest in Japan for a private satellite.
TSUKUYOMI-II was launched on April 8th, 2024, by SpaceX’s Falcon 9, with the Bandwagon-1 mission and on May 17th, 2024, TSUKUYOMI-II unveiled its first light.
