Launched on December 21, 2025 at 3:36 p.m. JST aboard Rocket Lab’s Electron, QPS-SAR-15 ‘SUKUNAMI-I’ successfully established the first communication just 6 minutes after separation. Following confirmation of its good condition, ‘SUKUNAMI-I’ successfully deployed its parabolic antenna on this morning. We are now preparing to obtain the first Earth observation data after completing the satellite’s calibration as scheduled.
