Launched on April 8th 2024 at 08:16 a.m. (JST) by SpaceX Falcon9, QPS-SAR-7 “TSUKUYOMI-II” has made a successful communication about an hour after separation. Confirmed of its good condition TSUKUYOMI-II has successfully executed the deployment of its parabolic antenna in last midnight. We are now planning to obtain the first earth observation data after completing the calibration of the satellite as scheduled.
